My car has a tune from the US and the performance is great.
Yes, your car can and will probably run great on its tune but how can you ever be sure it's 100% safe? You only know you're safe when you datalog all important data and evaluate the data and adjust where needed. Keep in mind that even whenyour tune is well done over here we run on different fuel etc. The biggest risk lies in the higher RPM zones and under high load. Under accelaration and driving hard for a few hours, the risk of burning a piston due to a lean mixture is severe and is the most seen failure in the tunes. We strongly advise to have your tune checked and adjusted where needed and have it checked every 3 years, just to make sure you're still safe.
Let’s start with some general information to avoid misunderstandings and clear the sky from the amazing high horsepower stories, like a stock 2005 3V making 380HP with no mods but just a tune...
Do not expect huge gains from a custom tune on a basically stock Mustang. It will get you around 8-20HP and 10-25NM depending on the mods of the vehicle. What will change is the way the car responds. Basically the throttle will be more responsive and in case of an automatic the shifting pattern will or can be different. The speed limiter can be switched off and due to some other changed parameters your car gets a more sporty character. We will also adjust the ECU to your current wheel and tire size so you will havea speedo that reeds correctly.
More power can only be gained by making a good selection of the performance parts, which needs to be done with great care to avoid adding parts together that are incompatible with each other, causing bad driving habits or won't net you any gains at all. Feel free to ask us for advice.
Be advised that on a the modern engine you cannot just add a cold air intake, this will result in a poor idling car and often poor mileage as well.
We always make our tunes in such a way that they are as safe a possible for your engine while still trying to get a decent amount of extra horsepower out of it. Please note that your warranty is not valid anymore after your modification, neither do we cover any warranty. So any damage, to the car, the engine or the drivetrain, yourself, third party or whatever is always at your own risk. The good news is that there are hundreds of thousands people driving a tuned vehicle without any problems.

Our tunes are not like the canned tunes you buy preloaded, the difference is mainly in the way we want the automatics to shift and the adjusted fuel maps due to the different fuel we have here in Europe.

If you have a supercharger installed on the car and never had it tuned, we can only give you one advice…. GET IT TUNED, 90%! of the supercharged cars are running lean which can lead to severe engine damage due to detonation. Although the focus is on horsepower, a properly tuned engine is checked for correct air fuel ratio throughout the entire RPM range and under all load conditions, has a calibrated and adjusted MAF table and timing is set in such a way that drivability of the vehicle is smooth and strong. On automatics this can be a time consuming task, mainly because everybody has different ideas on how they want the transmission to shift.

Custom tuning in combination with LPG is also possible, however sometimes it will cause your check engine light to come on.
Tuning the F250, F350 or any other Ford diesel truck can get you huge power gains, results from 80 hp up to 250 HP are possible depending on year, model and engine.
